Q. What sort of party entertainment do you offer?
A. We offer an array of entertainment from games, music and crafts, to face painting and glitter tattoos, to our Interactive Princess Show! We have several different package options to meet the needs of our clients and give their special birthday prince or princess a day they will never forget! Q. How do I book a party?
A.  If you'd like to book a party with us, first contact us to see that your date and character are available. You can do this by phone or email. Or by filling out the Reservation Request Form on the page of our website called “Book Now!” Clients who confirm availability by phone or email will still need to submit this form to book. Once we receive your form we will send you a PayPal invoice for the amount due. If your party is more than 30 days away, you may pay a 50% deposit and then pay the outstanding balance 30 days before your event. If your event is less than 30 days away, we require full payment to book. 

Q. How do I pay for my party?
 A. Payments can be made by Credit Card, Debit Card, or PayPal account using PayPal, which is safe and secure. In rare cases, we will accept personal checks, but not for split payments. There is a $25 fee for canceled checks. For large parties: If you are expecting more than the number of guests included in your package price, and you are unsure of how many will arrive, you can pay the package price and settle up in Cash on the day of your party for any extra guest fees. Q. What areas do you serve? 
A. In New York City we serve:  Manhattan below 116th st. In Brooklyn, we serve Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope and West Williamsburg. In the Bronx, we serve Riverdale west of the Hudson Pkwy. In town parties, not held in Manhattan are subject to a $25-$50 transportation fee.

Out of Town: We also serve parts of Eastern New Jersey (within 20 mins of the city), Central Westchester County, Long Island and Greenwich, CT.  These parties are considered "Out of town" and are subject to a flat fee of $50 per character to cover travel time and transportation costs. All performers for these parties must be picked up from and dropped off at the train station, or given additional fare for taxis. 

Q. Will boys enjoy my event?
A. Yes! We are a very boy-friendly company. We offer Prince, Hunter and Pirate Characters and we always make sure our activities are gender neutral for parties with boy guests. We have 100% positive feedback on co-ed parties.

Q. What Characters Do You Offer?
A. We offer classic fairytale and storybook characters. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Princess Beauty, Rapunzel, Little Mermaid Princess, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Green Fairy Princess, Arabian Princess, Pinkalicious, Fancy Nancy, Madeline, Mary Poppins, Prince Character, Hunter Character, Pirate Character.

Q. Are you affiliated with Disney?
A. While we are big fans of Disney (Who isn't!) we are not, nor do we claim to be affiliated with them. Our characters are based on Hans Christian Anderson and Brothers Grimm fairytales as well as classic storybooks. Any similarity in appearance is something common to the character. Rapunzel will always have long, blond hair whether you're seeing her in the movie Tangled, or in a book of fairytales. Your child's imagination will fill in any gaps that we cannot offer due to trademarks.

Q. Do you offer custom options?
A. Yes, we do! If you do not want to book one of our party packages with activities, we offer simple Princess Visits and a Princess Birthday Breakfast to meet your needs. Custom options starting at $95

Q. What if I need to cancel?
A. All parties performed are non-refundable. If you cancel your party up to 48 hours before your date, we will issue you a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel your party after that, $100 of your deposit becomes non-refundable. Clients may re-schedule their party at no extra charge if we have availability. Clients will be refunded 100% of their payment in the rare event that NY Princess Party has to cancel an event on an emergency basis.

Q. Should I tip the performers?
A. Gratuity is not included in our package prices. Our Princess Party entertainers strive to give your child a magical experience on their birthday. If you enjoy our service, a tip for your Princess is appreciated. We thank you for your generosity!

Q. I live outside your service area, will you still come?
A. While we love client enthusiasm, our princesses can only travel so far! We are happy to take inquries from clients to see if we can make an exception to our policy, but for the most party we can only travel within our service area.

Q. Can you coordinate and run my party?
A. Yes! Ask about our Mommy's Helper All Inclusive Package starting at $750 for a party of 10. This package includes an Event Coordinator to set up and run the party, serve food and cut the cake, place settings, centerpieces, goody bags, theme music, dress up accessories and 90 minutes of fabulous Interactive Princess Entertainment with the costumed character of your choice!
